How to do things

After working on a more complex Java project recently I’ve come to the conclusion that Java’s main benefit and detriment is that there are nigh-infinite ways to accomplish anything.  If you think a certain way of accomplishing something is possible, not only is it possible, but there are three frameworks to help you get started.   I think this is wonderful but it is a little different from the infrastructure that .NET gives you out of the gate.
